Dear John,

This letter is a request for funding to help underwrite the “Stop & Pray” outreach that I shared with you over the phone. I enclosed an overview of the outreach for your perusal. Here are some of the needs we are anticipating:

• Large Tent 30 x 50 rental – $490
• Prayer Signs (8) – est. over $200
• Printing of tracts & leaflets
• Policeman for security $15 - $20 per hour
• Cases of bottled water
• Misc. materials & expenses

John, it’s hard to put dollar amounts on some of these things…there’s always unexpected expenses as well as donated items. The major expense at this point is the tent and signs.
