Target Date: Saturday, June 9, 2001

Location: Front grounds of Living Way Church

Time: All-Day Event (Times specifically targeting mall traffic)

Purpose: Evangelistic outreach offering prayer and salvation in an atmosphere of worship

Strategy: Large signs on both sides of highway 100-ft apart from each other

Street sign #1 – “How's your life?”

Street sign #2 – “Need prayer?”

Street sign #3 – “Stop & Pray” w/ arrow pointing toward outreach

Entrance signs #4 & #5 “Don't delay – Stop & Pray – today!

Event conclusion: Evening worship service

Event Teams

  1. Tent Team (Tent company)

Tent team to set-up Friday before event and disassemble Sunday or Monday after event

  1. Worker Team (Team leader – George Matranga)

General oversight/set-up, parking, security, clean up, etc.

Hospitality Team (Team leader – Tammie Matranga)

Drinks & sandwiches for workers, FREE “Cup of Cold Water” for weary travelers of this life, etc.

Worship Teams (Team leader – Richard Clark)

Heart of the Arts, Living Way

Prayer/Counselor Teams (Team leader – Doug Troxell)

Prayer workers to be trained by Doug Troxell. Sessions to be opened (orientation) by Les Derrick.

• Evangelistic Team (Team leader – Bob Collins)

Pass out leaflets at neighborhood park, mall, etc.

Event Needs:

• Large Tent 30' x50'

• Police security $15 - $20 per hour

• Chairs/Tables (provided by Living Way Church )

• Portable Stage (provided by Clark Electric Co.)

• Electricity (provided by Clark Electric Co.)

• Worker Badges

• Prayer Signs

• Mosquito Control

• Sound System/Music Equipment (provided by Heart of the Arts)

• Tracts/Booklets/Follow-up (provided by Heart of the Arts/Living Way Church)

• Printing of tracts/leaflets

• Artwork design (provided by Carolyn Tan)
